Welcome Message

Welcome Message

Dear colleagues from the Middle-East and around the world,

We are very excited to announce The 1st ISE Endocrinology Practice – Middle East 2021 in partnership with the Emirates Diabetes and Endocrine Society (EDES). With the health and safety of our attendees, partners, vendors and staff as our priority, we have decided to deliver this event as a virtual conference.

The inaugural ISE Endocrinology Practice conference will be held jointly with the EDES and we are very proud in having the first of our regional ISE Practice series in partnership with them.

The EDES has been the premier society which imparts knowledge to HCPs not just in the UAE but across the region in the field of diabetes and endocrinology. In its effort to ensure that learning is made easy and continuous, EDES has collaborated with the ISE to bring together world class speakers and interesting topics to stimulate and initiate discussions and learnings from an international perspective.

The ISE and EDES leadership in collaboration with the Conference co-Chairs and Program Organizing Committee have planned an innovative, clinical and case-based program directly geared at the needs of the Middle-East region. This interactive virtual event will be an exciting learning experience that showcases an outstanding CME-accredited program with presentations of the highest level given by leading international faculty followed by case studies presented by Endocrinologists from the region discussed with the expert speakers.

ISE is committed to support the Endocrinology community in all regions around the world, to connect and share the latest advancements in patient care. The virtual experience will be an opportunity to learn, collaborate and discover recent clinical updates in endocrine care, with a variety of approaches, disciplines, and specialties, providing engaging on-demand and live sessions.

We would like to particularly recognize all the individuals who have spent countless hours preparing for the ISE 2021 Endocrinology Practice Conference, specifically the Program Organizing Committee led by co-Chairs Dr. Margaret Wierman and Dr. Fatheya Al Awadi, as well as all speakers who have accepted our invitation to share their knowledge with the Endocrinology community in the Middle East.

We look forward to a great launch of our inaugural event in the Endocrinology Practice series, #ISEPractice2021, which we trust will attract many of our colleagues from the Middle East region, and we look forward to continue the in-person ISE CME-focussed events soon in other parts of the world.
