Logo of the International Society of Endocrinology (ISE)

Since its foundation in 1960, the International Society of Endocrinology (ISE) has pursued the worldwide advancement of education, science and patient care in endocrinology.

Today the society forms a global network integrating all areas of endocrinology and metabolism. Federating more than 60 national endocrinology associations, ISE unites the global endocrinology community to facilitate international cooperation between member organizations, partners and wider stakeholders.

ISE particularly focuses its efforts on advocacy, championing endocrinology networks in developing countries and regions, and supporting early career endocrinologists around the world.

The flagship event of ISE – the International Congress of Endocrinology (ICE) – is organized every two years in a different region of the world in collaboration with one of the member societies and serves as the main outlet to disseminate the latest science in the field of endocrinology and metabolism.

With its new ISE Endocrinology Practice series, ISE aims to establish a forum for endocrinologists regionally, to improve their knowledge and skills by sharing and applying internationally recognized best practices through a clinical-focussed CME program complemented with case-based sessions.
